Dear Parent/Guardian

We are great full to the Almighty God who has brought us to end of term II/2010 successfully.

Special thanks to parents and Guardians for moral, financial and material support throughout the term.  May the Good Lord bless you. We also thank the entire staff for their tireless effort.

Academics:

We have had serious teaching throughout the term.  Our S.4 and S.6 candidates have sat  for Joint Mock examinations and we hope they will perform well.

The rest of the classes S1, S.2, S.3and S.5 have also been duly assessed.   The reports will be issued on 13/08/2010 due to changes by the ministry for all schools to have early holidays.

Our teachers are therefore busy marking and signing reports so students from S1, S.2,S.3 and S.5 should keep at home from 02/8/2010 to 13/08/2010 when report forms will be issued.

Exchange Programme:

We shall host our partners in learning from Portsmouth Grammar school from Saturday

07/08/2010 to Monday 09/08/2010. We therefore request all parents and guardians to send all day scholar students to come and receive them.  We shall also have various activities in our exchange programme with in the stipulated days

Discipline:

We are continuing with the struggle of disciplining all our students.  We thank all those parents and guardians who have worked with us  in curbing down indiscipline.  We further request parents to continue guidance and counseling to their children during the holidays.

Fish Farming:

We have a fish farm at school and we have been able to include fish in our diet this term.

Loan/Credit Scheme:

We encourage our parent and guardian to come and join our SACCO.  We also extend credit to small scale business and still offer school fees loans to our day students.

Voice of Kikaaya:

We have opened up a local radio at our school premises.  Please feel free to advertise your business with us.  We also make all sorts of announcements.  The studio is at our college campus.

School Fees Structure:

We thank parents and guardians who have completed their children’s fees and call upon those who have not to do so immediately.

Please also take note that no student will be allowed in school without having paid at least 50%  of the fees.  A bank slip has been issued.   You can also use ZAP on KIKAAYA 681 this does not require you to come  to school as ZAP is found in many places country wide.
